I received my Bachelors in Social Work from the University of Montevallo and my Masters in Social Work from the University of Alabama. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has been in practice for thirteen years. I have experience in community mental health settings, psychiatric inpatient settings, and outpatient settings with mental health. I work with men and women, ages from children to adolescents. I have worked with a variety of clients who are dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief/loss, family issues, and many others.  I primarily utilize Cognitive Behavioral therapy practices and interventions, and mindfulness techniques. I do not believe there is a "one size fits all" practice as every client is different. I make it my motto to "start where the client is at." I enjoy spending time with my husband, two children, and our two cats. I also enjoy shopping and spending time with extended family and friends.
